SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
We are looking for a skilled and motivated manager to join our Enterprise Core Support team from the Service Management Office (SMO) of the Information Technology & Services (EITS) within Client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing technology solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. The candidate should be proficient in ITIL 4 (including ITSM) practices and principles to ensure alignment with industry standards, especially in Service Level Management.
General tasks and responsibilities will include :
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to gather and document business requirements using ITIL 4 methodologies.
- Analyze current healthcare IT systems and workflows to identify areas for improvement
- Develop functional specifications and business requirements documents for new technology solutions
- Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning, utilizing ITIL 4 practices.
- Facilitate communication between IT teams and healthcare departments to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business needs
- Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of new digital technologies and systems, adhering to ITIL 4's iterative progress and feedback approach.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions to ensure they meet business objectives utilizing continual improvement practices.
- Provide training and support to end-users on ITIL 4 processes and practices, such as Incident, Request, and Knowledge management, with the concentration of Service Level and Operation Level agreement, and new systems and technologies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in healthcare information technology, including ITIL 4 updates and certifications.
- Support department managers in enhancing ticket quality by reviewing current practices, proposing improvement initiatives, and translating these ideas into business requirements
- Assist with the Enterprise Service Desk operation when needed, Supervise and monitor staff
- Plan, assigns and reviews the work of subordinates
- Directs the preparation of departmental budgets in conjunction with other departmental managers.
- Coordinates the activities of the various segments of the department to assure timely and economical completion of projects.
- Directs the preparation of cost estimates for current and proposed projects, reflecting the cost of equipment, man and machine hours required.
- Establishes, reviews and controls documentation standards, including the development and control of forms.
