What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at Integrated Security Solutions, Inc.?
The on-site Project Coordinator will assist the ARNG department Project Managers and Senior Project Manager with the efficient and successful operation and oversight of the department and applicable projects.
Essential Duties
· In coordination with the Project Managers and the POAM’s, tracks the Security Technicians’ work locations and schedules.
· Provides proposed assignment changes to the ARNG Program Office weekly. Coordinates all travel for project personnel in accordance with company policy. This includes jobsite to jobsite (mobilization and demobilization), jobsite to home breaks (rotations) and to any/all mandatory training locations.
· In coordination with the ISS Training Coordinator, tracks certifications and licensing needed by project personnel. This includes maintaining a schedule to keep technicians current on certifications.
· Coordinates with other ISS Project Managers to arrange substitutions when NGB Technicians are maxed out.
· Coordinates with the ISS Facilities Security Officer to ensure all project personnel complete security clearances needed for project sites. Also coordinates technician preclearance actions with individual states.
· Communicates daily with ISS Operations, Business Office, Procurement Office, and Accounting to resolve any project needs.
· Reviews all Travel and Expense Records before sending to the Project Manager for approval.
· Assists the Project Managers in the development and maintenance of project schedules.
· Develop a logistics forecasting schedule for all field operations.
· Prepare material orders for submission to the Procurement Office.
· Inspect and verify the accuracy of material orders prior to shipping.
· Coordinate with technicians in the field and State Representatives for the inventory and tracking of job site materials.
Required Skills
· Employee must be able to perform essential job duties satisfactorily.
· Employee must have a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, typical office procedures and equipment.
· This position requires periodic drug testing, a valid driver's license, background check and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
· Excellent organizational, time management and task completion skills.
· Strong Communication skills, both oral and written.
· Able to multi-task effectively.
· Exhibit a high level of professionalism.
· Work as part of a team by contributing to company goals.
Education and Experience
· Required - High school diploma or equivalent.
· Required – One year experience and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Project.
· Preferred – One year of experience with Intuit QuickBooks.
· Preferred – One year of contract management knowledge.
