Perform tasks related to the collection and evaluation of data required to monitor & build project schedules. Learn to apply the principles and techniques of resource monitoring & management to specific tasks and overall projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop, draft and enter construction schedules into Primavera P6 for assigned area under direct supervision.
- Calculate and prepare various comparison reports, charts and tables for project analysis.
- May draft construction schedule network. Enter data into computer, debug and correct computer data.
- Assist in developing primary schedules and maintaining manhour forecasts. Report schedule variances per established deadlines.
- Assist in analyzing work progress and developing craft productivity reports to document activity requirement per construction schedules.
- Assist in preparing special reports or studies requested by the client and project management.
- May develop schedules for small portions of a project under close supervision.
- Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.
- Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervision.
Qualifications
Four-year engineering degree and four (4) years of experience or equivalent combination of training and related experience. Basic knowledge of resource monitoring techniques such as CPM networks, plus basic understanding of construction technology, process systems or structures required.
