We meet people in their homes and communities and help connect them to the resources they need. We serve Southeastern and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services – working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. The Director is responsible for oversight of grants and other funds used to promote housing stability and to foster economic development within communities impacted by generational poverty. The Director is responsible for oversight of all required reports for regulatory agencies and serves as the primary point of contact with the Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio (COHHIO), Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the Ohio Department of Development.
The pay range for this position is $91,225-$112,500 annually based on experience.

Essential Functions:
- Provides indirect oversight of operations and programmatic activity through a team of experts in homeless assistance programs and supportive housing.
- Ensures programmatic compliance and fidelity with all housing program requirements.
- Provides regular supervision, evaluation, consultation, and training of the housing program consultants.
- Oversee funds directed towards housing stability in covered housing regions.
- Develop and establish clearly defined and repeatable processes, and procedures and identify efficiencies to drive success and access for referred individuals.
- Drives program effectiveness by developing and maintaining performance measures.
- Ensure teams are complying with ISBH procedures, quality standards, and regulatory and contractual obligations, and are providing high-quality and respectful service to clients.
- Models and encourages professional behaviors, honesty, integrity, and authenticity, which reinforces culture and instills trust.
- Adapts to evolving needs and manages ambiguity.
- Fostering a cohesive, coordinated, and robust response to person-centered care by consulting with employees on complex cases and issues, as needed.
- Develop and maintain high-level relationships with local, state, and federal stakeholders, including HUD, COHHIO, and the Corporation of Supportive Housing (CSH).
- Ensures establishment of repeatable processes, and procedures, and that efficiencies are implemented to drive success and outcomes for housed individuals.
- Works closely with citizens and local partners to better understand the unique strengths and needs of the communities served.
- Uses data to support the intentional strengthening and/or expansion of programs across counties served by ISBH.
- Ensure teams are complying with ISBH procedures, quality standards, and regulatory and contractual obligations, and are providing high-quality and respectful service to clients.
- Models and encourages professional behaviors, honesty, integrity, and authenticity, which reinforces culture and instills trust.
- Fostering a cohesive, coordinated, and robust response to person-centered care by consulting with employees on cases and issues in areas not within the employee’s area of expertise.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Six-plus years of experience delivering or managing housing programming in a healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of homeless assistance programs in Ohio.
- Previous supervisory experience is required.
- Willing to participate in and lead cross-systems team-building activities.
- Broad knowledge of community service systems.
- Commitment to a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace is required.
- Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Willingness to be part of a team and work cooperatively with all ISBH staff.
