Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. We meet people in their homes and communities and help connect them to their needed resources. We serve Southeastern and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. The Regional Director - Southeast oversees the overall performance of the region, including but not limited to service multiple programs and service lines in a multi-county area. The Regional Director supports County Managers in all operational, administrative, and clinical functions. Effectively collaborates to coordinate resources and care across regions in partnership with other regional team members and subject matter experts. Actively promotes the organizations mission, vision, and values in all interactions.
The Southeast region consists of the following counties in Ohio: Athens, Hocking, Vinton, Jackson, Gallia, and Meigs.
The pay range for this position is $128,000 - $160,000 annually based on experience.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for delivery outcomes, financial sustainability, and growth (current and new programs) and drive initiatives to meet or exceed budgeted financial expectations.
Directly oversees and provides support and developmental opportunities to County Managers and other direct reports.
Communicates, clearly and effectively the organizational goals to their respective teams and successfully implements organizational goals within their region
Conduct regular site visits to assess and drive results in operations, employee performance, and client care.
Lead efforts to achieve and maintain high ratings on quality measures, accreditation reviews and other established criteria.
Supports and motivates direct reports to accomplish both their individual professional and organizational goals. Develops or assists in the development of plans to grow internal talent to meet current and future business needs.
Models and encourages professional behaviors, honesty, integrity, and authenticity, which reinforces culture and instills trust.
Adapts to evolving needs and manages ambiguity.
Monitors policy compliance for assigned offices/providers.
Establishes priorities for areas of responsibility in relation to all facets of the business. Communicates the priorities to practice management; modifies priorities as needed
Stays abreast of patient satisfaction trends and communicates results as needed. Assists county manager as needed to create plans to improve scores.
Ensure the overall well-being of each county through effective management practices for all areas such as budget planning and adherence, marketing and communication priorities, compliance, implementations, and timely completion of priorities.
Provide regular updates to senior leaders regarding local market and or service line dynamics and opportunities
Travels to assigned location/s as needed to assist with duties and achievement of goals
All other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements:
Bachelors degree in business, public administration, healthcare administration, or another related field is preferred. a Masters degree preferred in the above-related fields.
Experience Requirements:
Five years of progressive experience in a leadership role required, overseeing multisite experience highly desired.
Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate operational activities.
Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and procedures, licensing and certification requirements, and other state and federal regulations relating to the healthcare industry
Two years experience managing large budgets/projects and providing operational forecasting for financial modeling
Demonstrated ability to implement, monitor initiatives, and provide appropriate feedback, and/or corrective actions.
Working knowledge of financial metrics and ability to identify opportunities to improve upon financial metrics
Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail systems, and web-based programs
Proven ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial reports, and governmental regulations
Proven ability to write reports, business correspondence, speeches, and articles for publication, and local procedure manuals
Proven ability to effectively present information and respond to common inquiries and complaints from groups of managers, employees, patients, regulatory agencies, members of the business community, vendors, public groups, boards of directors, and other stakeholders
Proven ability to interact and communicate with a variety of people, both on a one-on-one basis and in meetings and group presentations; must be able to relate to and work with ill, emotionally upset, and sometimes hostile people
Ability to prioritize multiple complex tasks.
Experience working within Electronic Health Record systems
75% travel in the field supporting client care and regional operations, or more as needed is expected for this role.
