Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. The Revenue Cycle Manager oversees the efficient and timely processing of claims and ensures proper reimbursement for services provided by Integrated Services for Behavioral Health providers. This role manages the billing and credentialing teams, comprising 10 employees, to ensure compliance, accuracy, and productivity. Key responsibilities include optimizing revenue cycle operations, monitoring claims workflows, and collaborating across departments to resolve billing and credentialing issues effectively.
The salary range for this position is $75,505.20 to $90,724.00 based on relevant experience.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for all ISBH billing & reimbursement.
- Coordinates and manages the work of all billing staff.
- Ensures compliance with state / federal law & regulations.
- Coordinates with support to configure CareLogic to ensure system efficiencies in the billing and payment process.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for billing and collections operations.
- Evaluates existing processes to help identify, design, and implement process improvement to drive increased collections or workflow efficiency.
- Evaluates performance of staff per company policy.
- Works with Senior Management, Managers, and Supervisors as requested.
- Provides ongoing training and support to the billing staff and Communication Associates.
- Participates in the system setup process for new revenue streams.
- Oversees and supports Credentialing Supervisor and staff.
- Attends pertinent conferences and meetings as appropriate.
- Some travel is required in our service area.
- Other duties as required.
Minimum qualifications:
- Six years of experience in Ohio Behavioral Health Medicaid billing, preferred.
- Three years of management experience in a health care billing role, required.
- Six years of experience using an electronic health record, preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated high degree of cultural awareness.
- Ability to use appropriate databases, spreadsheets, and other software.
- Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression.
- Must be able to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment.
- State of Ohio Driver’s License
Education:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Health, Administration or other related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
