What You Will Be Doing
Working as an Office Manager at our Urgent Care and Access Center, you will be responsible for providing supervision for assigned staff while overseeing the daily operations of the office environment as well as the coordination and supervision of the security guards contracted with ISK. This position will also manage the Urgent Care and Access Center Building operations to ensure effective and efficient workflow and building needs including maintenance issues, health and safety concerns, building keys/access, etc. This position will schedule and delegate job assignments for support staff to accomplish necessary office operations. This position will require flexibility and willingness to supervise contract staff as well as work non-traditional hours on an as-needed basis to provide support in the case of building emergencies, repairs, etc.
What We Require
Associate degree in business field and supervisor experience preferred. Three years’ experience working in a comprehensive office environment is required. The ideal candidate will have excellent organization and communication skills, as well as advanced computer skills. Lived experience navigating mental and/or behavioral health resources is desired. A valid Michigan Motor Vehicle Operator’s license is preferred.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Physical Efforts – Job demands include prolonged sitting and standing as appropriate. May occasionally require light lifting up to 25 pounds, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or bending as appropriate. Requires coordination of hands and/or eye/hand/foot.
Working Conditions – Office environment with noise from computers, copy machine, and telephones. Use of computer screen for periods in excess of 30 minutes at a time. Possible eyestrain from extended periods of viewing computer screen. May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and parasites. Travel throughout the Kalamazoo area is required.
