Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of embedded coding experience and a passion for working in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
Job Role :
Assist in the development and testing of embedded code for a variety of Department of Defense (DoD) projects
Work in a small-team environment to support the development of innovative systems in areas including Electronic Warfare, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning
Design, develop, and implement embedded software and firmware for various electronic systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
Develop and maintain software documentation, including specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
Conduct testing and debugging of embedded systems to ensure functionality and performance.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve our products and processes.
Participate in design reviews and provide input on hardware and software architecture decisions.
Required Experience :
- 3-5 years of experience in embedded systems development, with proficiency in coding with C / C .
- Strong understanding of electronic circuitry and hardware design principles.
- Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART).
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
