Title: Senior Systems Engineer (MBSE)
Location: Huntsville, AL preferred; Remote possible
Description: IS4S is looking for a systems engineer with experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) to support programs across the company based on skill, domain understanding, and interest. The systems engineer will work with other engineering domains to clearly capture customer needs; system, subsystem, and implementation requirements such as hardware and software configuration items; structural and behavior architecture including key system metrics and interface definition; risk and opportunity; and verification & validation objectives. The systems engineer will use his/her expertise in MBSE to translate these items in SysML and other model-based languages and tools as prescribed. The systems engineer will represent IS4S in customer-facing meetings. The systems engineer will also support proposals for the company as needed.

Job Role(s):
- Execute the systems engineering development of a major defense program within an MBSE tool/environment
- Develop scripting for the export of data artifacts into document-based format
- Develop scripting within the Cameo/Magic SoS Architecture tool to support the effective management of model data artifacts
- Communicate systems engineering concepts using the MBSE model(s)
- Traditional Systems Engineering roles executed from the model such as: Requirements Development, Architecture Development, Requirements Verification, Parametric Analysis, Trade Study Execution, Technical Performance Measurement, Decision Analysis
- Proposal Support
Required Experience:
- Expertise in Cameo/Magic SoS Architecture
- Experience with Defense Systems
- Active Secret Clearance
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 4 additional years of experience with a different technical degree
