We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to lead our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a US Citizen, have at least 3 years of embedded (C / C ) coding experience and a demonstrated ability to lead a team of 12 to 15 software engineers in Agile embedded application development. Your passion for working in a fast-paced, highly technical environment will be critical to the team’s ability to pave the way to a variety of new software applications that directly impact our Warfighter’s ability to quickly overmatch and overwhelm near peer adversaries.

Job Role :

• Assist in the design, development and testing of embedded code for a variety of Department of Defense (DoD) projects.
• Lead a team in the Agile development environment to provide a unique and significant capability critical to our nation’s defense.
• Design, develop, and implement embedded software and firmware in C / C .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
• Develop and maintain software documentation, including specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
• Conduct testing and debugging of embedded systems to ensure safety, functionality and expected performance.
• Participate in design reviews, provide input on hardware and software architecture decisions, and communicate effectively with the customer and management.

Required Experience :

Experience with Earned Value Management is also a plus but not required (training can be provided).
