We are looking for a Senior Programmer / Analyst / Web Developer with a strong background in both current Internet technologies and IBM mainframe environments . The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in software development and systems analysis, with a proven ability to design, develop, and maintain both web-based and mainframe applications. As part of our team, you will work on high-impact projects and contribute to the evolution of our systems and applications.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to build and optimize robust solutions that integrate modern web technologies with legacy IBM mainframe systems. This is an onsite role from Jan-Jun with the possibility of a hybrid schedule Jun-Dec. Regular work hours are 9-5. Free parking onsite.

Key Responsibilities :

• Web Development : Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using modern web technologies while ensuring seamless integration with IBM mainframe systems.
• Mainframe Programming : Develop and maintain COBOL programs, CICS transactions, and DB2 databases within the z / OS environment. Ensure high performance and reliability of mainframe applications.
• System Analysis : Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and create solutions that meet business needs. Analyze and troubleshoot complex systems to improve functionality and performance.
• Database Management : Utilize DB2 and SQL to design, query, and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient database performance.
• Collaboration : Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and system administrators to deliver integrated solutions that meet both web and mainframe requirements.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting : Perform system upgrades, apply patches, and resolve issues with both mainframe and web applications. Provide ongoing support for mission-critical systems.
• Innovation : Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in web technologies and mainframe systems to continually improve the company’s IT infrastructure and application capabilities.
