What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ambassador/Dietary Aide position at Integrated Support Solutions, Inc.?
Integrated Support Solutions Inc. (We call ourselves ISSI) exists for the sole purpose of helping others succeed. One step above being a server (and two steps below in the level of stress) are our gatekeepers to the patient experience – our Ambassadors. Our patients are our guests, and we are the front line of their eating experience. Nutrition Ambassadors guide the patient to both their healthful and palatable meal dining decisions. They ensure their patients that, although they may be in a situation where their eating requires more mindfulness, the experience will eventually guide them to advancing their health through food for the brighter future to come.
We have openings for Nutrition Ambassador/Diet Aide in a surgical hospital in Reidsville, GA. Must have the ability to work weekends and holidays.
Basic job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Taking patient meal orders
- Preparing and passing patient meal trays
- Washing dishes, general kitchen duties
- Stocking of inventory
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitary conditions within the department at all times
- Ensuring patient safety, patient satisfaction and complete confidentiality of information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- Experience in similar position in a healthcare setting preferred but not required
- Fluent in English
- Have a willingness to learn
- Have a valid Food Handler's Card (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
