Part time Cashier to work in a college cafe; the qualified candidate must be available to work Monday thru Friday, no nights, weekends or holidays.
Qualified candidates must be available between 6:00am-6:30pm. Shifts will vary (6:00am-2:30pm, 7:00am-3:30pm, 2:30pm-6:30pm) depending on business needs.
Requirements include:
- Must hold a California Food Handlers card. If expired, must renew.
- Must have 6 months of previous cashier/food handling experience.
Basic job duties include:
- Cashiering, ringing up transactions on a POS system
- Front of house and back of house cleaning, assisting with the cleanliness of the cafeteria, kitchen and eating area
- Light food prep, putting orders away, assembling grab-n-go food items, stocking grab-n-go coolers, stock retail snacks and beverages
- Assisting with the cleanliness of the cafeteria, kitchen and eating area

Ideal candidates present in a professional manner and have good people skills, must be outgoing, a self-starter and detailed oriented. Must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
