We have an opening for a Cafe Supervisor in a state-of-the-art surgical hospital in the Phoenix area. Qualified candidates must have prior lead or supervisory experience in a restaurant or food establishment. They will also have the ability to cover any and all positions including but not limited to cashier, Ambassador / server, barista, stocking, bank deposits, till balancing, etc. Must be available to work 40-55 hours over a variety of shifts between 6 : 30am-7 : 30pm Monday through Friday and weekends as needed.
Requirements
Basic job duties include, but are not limited to :
- Assist the Director in directly overseeing the management of caf guest services.
- Ability to oversee the daily operation of the coffee and beverage retail services
- Management of retail production program.
- Willingness to delegate daily tasks and supervise a staff of up to 20 employees.
- Host daily huddle meetings to promote continuing educations of staff performance standards and policy updates.
- Ability to consistently conduct routine audit documentation of foodservice performance and safety standards.
- Assist in the ordering and management of all food stock.
- Uphold minimum acceptable standards and methods as outlined in the Policy and Procedures to promote high quality food and dining services.
- Willingness to provide real time feedback and constructive guidance to employees to prevent any safety, food borne illnesses, or performance risks in accordance with Federal, State and County regulations.
- Ability to effectively communicate with Director in a timely manner any and all performance, safety, and service issues or concerns and provide potential solutions.
- Must be available to work 40-55 hours over a variety of shifts between 6 : 30am-7 : 30pm Monday through Friday and weekends as needed.
