Salon Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Salon Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth salon operations and delivering exceptional customer service. As a Salon Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact with clients, responsible for managing appointments, and enhancing the overall client experience. This is a part-time position with a schedule of 6 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet clients warmly, provide information about services, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Address any client inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Appointment Management: Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments for clients using salon software. Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate walk-ins and changes.
• Communication: Liaise between clients and stylists/beauticians to ensure clear understanding of service needs. Keep clients informed about service availability and wait times.
• Operational Support: Assist with daily salon operations, including inventory management, product stocking, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the salon.
• Administrative Duties: Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence. Process payments, manage client records, and maintain a tidy reception area.
• Sales and Promotions: Promote salon services and retail products to clients; assist with the execution of marketing initiatives and salon promotions.
• Team Collaboration: Support salon staff by coordinating schedules, facilitating training, and fostering a positive team environment.

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in salon management or customer service is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and a minimum of five years driving experience.
• Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a salon or beauty industry setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in computer software, including scheduling and point-of-sale systems.
• A passion for the beauty industry and a genuine interest in providing top-notch client experiences
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
• Successful clearance of local and or state background checks
