What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President - Living Services position at Integrated Supports for Living, Inc?
This position is accountable for all aspects of program operations IS Living, including but not limited to our Specialized Contracts with APD (Aging and People with Disabilities) that support people with traumatic brain injury, our 24-Hour Residential Programs for Adults and our Employment and Day Support programs for individuals who experience intellectual and/or developmental (I/DD) disabilities. IS Living’s person-centered programs facilitate an integrated approach to providing support on a trajectory where the people we support are connected with opportunities to live their lives in a way which maximizes their autonomy.
A FEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct comprehensive operations and performance goals for all departmental programs. Maintain program licensing, endorsements and compliance with Federal, State and Local regulatory and administrative standards for the IS Living agency as a whole, ensuring each program is meeting monthly, quarterly and annual benchmarks.
- Provide leadership and work in collaboration with Residential Managers and teams; manage oversight of those with supervision and employee relations/performance responsibilities including performance management, disciplinary action, terminations and similar actions in collaboration with Human Resources to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and IS Living policy.
- Work in collaboration with the Human Resources Manager on other personnel management duties such as recruitment, employee hires, transfers, promotions, orientation and training, scheduling, delegation and salary changes. Provide and oversee personnel development, team building/leadership, engagement and performance review.
- Work closely with the Chief Operations Officer, Finance Manager and Residential Managers on Budget development and implementation, including budget management and variance reporting. Be accountable for the financial performance of individual programs; complete and present analysis when developing new programs and/or implementing program change; review and submit billing compliance documentation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in education, special education, psychology, social services, nursing and/or sensorial therapies, or related field, from an accredited program, AND 3 years of progressive managerial experience in community DD programs, preferably residential services; or,
- Associate’s degree in education, special education, psychology, social services, nursing and/or sensorial therapies, or related field, from an accredited program, AND 10 years of progressive managerial experience in community DD programs, preferably residential services with the ability to demonstrate forward thinking in program development; or
- More than ten (10) years of progressive managerial experience with at least 7 of those years in community DD programs, preferably residential services, with the ability to demonstrate forward thinking in program development and with training and/or experience in the following areas:
- Evaluation and program planning for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or brain injury
- Behavioral management
- Long- and short-term support planning
-Exceptionally organized and disciplined
-Possesses well-developed interpersonal skill and the ability to direct and motivate others in a supportive and cooperative team environment
-Has business administration expertise
-Able to coordinate with management, cross functional teams, and vendors in the execution of daily tasks and functions
-Excels at organizing, facilitating presentations and creating, improving and implementing systems/processes
-Proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Project, Visio, Email and Internet applications
-Proficient at strategic planning
-Successfully pass the DHS Criminal Background Check (CRIMS) and drug screen
-Possess current driver’s license
-OIS oversight certification which includes administrative review of the use of physical intervention.
