Summary
We're seeking a passionate DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software development principles, cloud infrastructure, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices. The successful candidate will play a critical role in streamlining our software development lifecycle, building and maintaining scalable solutions in the cloud, and ensuring the reliability and stability of our production environments.
Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure administrators to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring code quality and consistency.
• Provision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure within Azure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and databases.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC), utilizing tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Work closely with developers and operations staff to troubleshoot production issues and ensure swift resolution.
• Work across a large number of groups to ensure project completion for a wide variety of projects.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Expertise in source code management with Git and GitHub.
• Proficiency in Azure (Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure Virtual Desktop, etc.).
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable.
• Understanding of infrastructure security principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
