Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager– Summary
In this role, the EHS Manager will lead efforts to ensure workplace safety, environmental compliance, and a culture of stewardship. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet regulatory standards, improve processes, and minimize risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Environmental Compliance :
Develop and enforce environmental policies focusing on waste management, pollution prevention, and resource conservation.
Design and implement safety protocols to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
Develop comprehensive EHS programs and deliver training sessions to employees on safety and environmental practices.
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EPA).
Track and analyze EHS metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
