Position Title: Technical Level 2 - Technician
Location: Madison Heights, VA
Position Type: Full-time, Non-exempt
Position Summary:
As a Level 2 Technician at ITG, you will provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for a wide range of IT issues. This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional looking to expand their expertise in network administration, security, and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support via phone, live chat, and remote assistance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues affecting endpoints.
- Manage and support Microsoft 365 accounts, including authentication and access issues.
- Troubleshoot Intune and Autopilot deployment and configuration issues.
- Provide VoIP support, including troubleshooting call quality and connectivity issues.
- Implement and maintain endpoint security hardening measures, including endpoint protection.
- Configure and support cloud-to-cloud backup solutions for business continuity.
- Monitor and enhance email security, including phishing prevention and spam filtering.
- Utilize Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) tools for proactive maintenance and issue resolution.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the Service Manager within 30 minutes after start of troubleshooting.
- Deliver exceptional service through ITG’s 5 Core Values.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred.
- Required: CompTIA A , CompTIA Network , CompTIA Security .
- Preferred: Microsoft AZ-900, CCNA, or other advanced industry certifications.
- 3 Years supporting LAN/WAN Environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows desktop and Windows Server environments.
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, wireless networking, and network cabling.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 applications and administration.
- Experience with endpoint security, antivirus management, and email security solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
