Position Overview: As an Account Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for clients utilizing our Document Management, VoIP and Managed Network services. Your role will involve managing client accounts, ensuring service satisfaction, and facilitating the seamless delivery of IT solutions tailored to their specific needs. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to provide ongoing support and drive customer success across all service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Development: Proactively identify, prospect, and develop new sales opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients using our Document Management, VoIP and Managed Network services, ensuring that their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Pipeline Management: Track and manage sales activities, forecast revenue, and maintain an organized pipeline to meet quotas.
- Service Delivery: Coordinate with technical teams to ensure the timely and efficient implementation of all ITg services. Address any post-deployment issues and provide troubleshooting support.
- Account Maintenance: Manage a portfolio of client accounts, monitoring contract renewals, performance metrics, and overall satisfaction.
- Consultation and Upselling: Work closely with clients to understand their evolving business needs, and recommend additional IT solutions, Document Management features, or VoIP upgrades to improve their operations.
- Technical Liaison: Translate technical solutions into understandable terms for non-technical clients, ensuring they are comfortable with their systems and maximizing their usage.
- Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve potential issues with all ITg services, escalating to technical support when necessary.
- Collaboration: Partner with sales, support, and implementation teams to ensure a smooth customer experience from onboarding to ongoing support.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, service issues, and billing details. Track and report on customer satisfaction and performance.
- Understanding & Performing the Sales Cycle: Lead Generation, Lead Qualification, Sales Presentation, Handling Objections, Closing the Sale, Post-Sale Follow-up.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Document Management, VoIP Technologies, and IT Services to provide valuable insights to clients.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in account management, customer success, or a similar role in the IT industry, with experience in Document Management and/or VoIP Services preferred.
- Strong knowledge of VoIP Technologies and Document Management Solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build relationships and explain complex technical solutions to non-technical clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve client issues promptly and professionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Tech-savvy with an eagerness to learn about new technologies in the IT and telecommunications sectors.
