Position Overview :
As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will work under the supervision of a BCBA to provide direct ABA therapy to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. This role is ideal for individuals interested in pursuing a career as an RBT, as you’ll gain the skills and experience necessary to meet certification requirements.
Responsibilities :
- Provide 1 : 1 behavior therapy to clients in home, school, or community settings.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies designed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect and record accurate data on client progress and behaviors during therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with the BCBA to adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in regular training and supervision to ensure adherence to best practices and ethical guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with clients’ families and caregivers, providing updates on progress and strategies for generalization.
