Cloud Engineer

Overview

i3 is pursuing the Missile Defense Agency Information Management and Software Services (AIMSS) competitive effort. The mission is to design and implement a Missile Defense System with multiple layers of protection. We are currently reviewing candidate resumes for junior to senior level Cloud Engineers in the Huntsville, AL area. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical design through collaboration with leads and product owners to understand solution requirements and identify architectural patterns.
• Help other development and engineering teams resolve application to platform integration issues for Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) services.
• Offer a thorough understanding of ML, data analysis, data visualization, and event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate with end-users to optimize integration and user-experience.
• Develops cloud reference architectures in support of customer requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required. Additional experience may substitute for degree.
• Years of relevant experience requirements for each level:
  • Level I: 0-5, Level II: 6-11, Level III: 12
• Experience working in an Agile IT environment establishing a cloud-based technology in a government provided hybrid cloud environment with security, performance, operability, and scale for customers utilizing AIMSS technology.
• Must have Security , comparable certificate, or ability to achieve 8570/8140 compliance.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
