Job Details:
Title: Associate Scientist
Location: Richmond, VA 23219
Duration: 12 months
Pay range $39.85/hour
Shift: 8AM- 4PM or 9AM- 5PM EST
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare liquid, solid, and other required formulations, and prototypes according to instructions. ·
- Prepare analytical samples and operate analytical instruments according to SOPs and instructions with minimal supervision. ·
- Independently conduct material characterization and prototype testing, according to SOPs and instructions. ·
- Handle pure nicotine according to SOP; prepare nicotine solution according to instructions. ·
- Working on different material processing, following instructions as per SOP. ·
- Assist Principal Scientists with prototyping and 3D printed. ·
- Assist in the installation and routine maintenance of instruments, apparatus, and equipment. ·
- Upon request, independently conduct literature surveys, create design of experiments, execute according to the plan, and summarize results. ·
- Adhere to safety procedures and protocols to conduct chemistry, ingredient handling, material processing, and testing experiments.
Requirements:
- **Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific degree required**
- **0-3 Years of experience**
