Job Details:
Title: Compounder
Location: Plainsboro, NJ 08536
Duration: 06 months with possible extension
Pay Rate: $33/hour
2nd shift - 40 hours per week
Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and computer-savvy Lab Technician to support small-scale fragrance and beauty product compounding. This role requires precision, organization, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compounding: Prepare fragrance and beauty formulas by accurately weighing ingredients using an automated system.
- Quality Control: Ensure all ingredients meet quality standards and are within expiration dates.
- Lab Maintenance: Keep raw materials organized and maintain a clean, well-organized workspace.
- Safety Compliance: Follow HS&E procedures, wear proper PPE, and contribute to lab safety improvements.
- Efficiency & Support: Assist with additional tasks when needed, identify process improvements, and manage data using internal systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Lab Managers, Perfumers, and Project Teams to support formula development.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 0-5 years in a lab or compounding environment.
Skills:
- Strong MS Office Suite knowledge
- Ability to follow precise measurements and formulas
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift 20 lbs and stand for long periods
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work overtime if needed
