Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Duration: 12 Months of contract position (Possible extension)
Shift 8:00am to 5:00pm
Location: Louisville, KY 40223
Pay Rate: $29-30/Hour on W2
Job Description:
- Serve as a liaison for daily interactions with internal and external customers.
- Maintain daily service and service sales order reports.
- Process staged orders and ensure they are shipped on the day the order is booked, provided stock is available in local warehouses.
- Interact with warehouses, freight carriers, and other necessary contacts to resolve issues impacting customer shipments and delivery requirements.
- Provide the highest level of customer service consistently, even in demanding and challenging environments.
- Prioritize logistics needs as required.
- Communicate with warehouse operations and the logistics team to meet delivery requirements.
- Follow existing processes and procedures to ensure daily execution of operating standards and service level agreements.
- Communicate effectively with professionalism and a positive attitude with various individuals and groups.
- Possess a thorough understanding of customer service, supply chain, logistics, and transportation methods to manage orders effectively.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and global environment.
- Detailed and multi-task oriented.
- Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with logistics, ERP, and warehouse-related software.
