Medical Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This position requires a strong commitment to patient service, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Perform vital sign checks, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate.
• Administer medications as directed by physicians and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
• Provide basic life support as needed and ensure patient safety at all times.
• Support geriatric patients with their specific healthcare needs and concerns.
• Prepare patients for X-Ray procedures and assist with imaging as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the clinic environment.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
• Facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare providers to enhance patient service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of anatomy and hospital medicine is highly desirable.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
• Familiarity with geriatrics and their unique healthcare needs is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in handling medical equipment and performing basic clinical tasks.
