Payroll Clerk
Employment Type : Temp to Hire
Shift : Monday through Friday- 8 am to 4 pm
Pay Rate : $ 20.00 / hour
Location : Downtown Pittsburgh, 15219
Type : In person position
Duties
- Using Information Technology (e.g., computers, databases, web-based applications, Excel, and Word) to collect and maintain data and information related to employee payroll and time and leave.
- Applying ethical principles in accessing, collecting, using, and maintain fiscal data and information, including employee records and salary information.
- Collecting valid and reliable fiscal information to generate reports related to payroll and time and leave.
- Communicating in writing and orally with linguistic and cultural proficiency (e.g., when answering the phone or communicating with employees).
- Adhering to program and organization polices and procedures when facilitating time and attendance, handling employee benefit information (e.g., insurance enrollment, payroll deductions), and completing other related duties.
- Contributing to the development of program budgets through the compilation of relevant budget information, particularly related to payroll.
- Participating in professional development opportunities, such as in-service trainings.
- Process payroll for over 300 employees on a bi-weekly pay cycle.
