Material Handler – Forklift Operator
Zelienople, PA
Starting at $ 18.00 to $19.00 / hourly
Monday to Friday, three shifts available
1st (7 am to 3 : 15 pm) – 2 nd (3 : 00 pm to 11 : 15 pm) – 3 rd (11 : 00 pm to 7 : 15 am)
Benefits available after probationary period.

Description
The Material Handler operates a forklift or other mobile equipment to retrieve and distribute pallets and / or steel material to designated locations, as specified by work instructions or other. The worker ensures the flow of materials through the supply chain.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Read work instructions to determine product beginning and ending locations.
- Operate mobile equipment safely and efficiently to deliver the product to final location.
- Utilize necessary equipment to verify measurements / quality specifications.
- Complete job requirements with minimal supervision.
- Accurately document applicable job and product information utilizing computer and paper documents as required.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform preventative maintenance on mobile equipment as required / requested.
- Focus on quality and speed, performing all tasks with a sense of urgency toward excellence.
- Use of an overhead crane to maneuver and position steel pieces using lifting magnets, chains and / or straps.
- Maintain vehicle equipment cleanliness. Alert management of any mechanical issues in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as needed.
