- Design and implement highly available VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments to ensure maximum performance, security, and scalability.
- Deploy, configure, and optimize vSphere, ESXi, NSX, and vSAN components in a high-security DoD environment.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve complex virtualization issues.
- Lead upgrades and patch management across all virtualization infrastructure while maintaining operational uptime.
- Ensure full compliance with DoD security policies and best practices, implementing hardening techniques and continuous security monitoring.
- Develop and maintain high-level documentation including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, IT leaders, and cybersecurity teams to align virtualization strategy with mission objectives.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and system administrators.
