What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Support Technician position at Integris Group, LLC?
We are seeking two IT helpdesk individuals to join a large enterprise company in the Orlando market. This role is 5 days on site each week in two different locations (Metrowest Blvd, Orlando and Southpark Circle, Orlando, FL).
This person will be the helpdesk/desktop support team for a marketing group that will need them to handle basic, level I troubleshooting on issues as they arise.
This will be a mid-shift role (12pm - 8pm) and this person will have to work either Saturday or Sunday.
Much of the issues will be related to connectivity issues for internet, printers, and potential password resets. They are also in a virtual environment, so this person should have some experience with base-level VDI troubleshooting.
This is a six month contract to hire role.
The contract rate ranges from $16-18/hr with the perm rate increasing to $19-20/hr after the 6-month period.
This will turn into a full time role with full benefits (health insurance, 401k, tuition reimbursement) after the contract period.
Qualifications
- Strong technical support and IT support skills
- Proficiency in software troubleshooting and desktop support
- Experience with computer management and networking
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of VPN and firewall configurations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Competence in handling computer hardware issues
