What are the responsibilities and job description for the Telecom Field Tech position at Integris Group, LLC?
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detailed-oriented field telecom tech.
This is a 3-month contract that could be extended.
This person will travel out to field sites to inspect the quality of work done for storm repair work. This could involve a number of repairs related to fiber splicing, cable repair, and pipe fixing.
The schedule will be 5 days on site role that will be Monday - Friday.

The rate is currently $30-35/hr but might go higher for the right candidate.
Skills needed
1. 3-5 years of experience doing OSP QA/AC work identifying issues relating to splicing, fiber cut, maintenance, or installation work.
2. 5-8 year of overall OSP experience working in the field and fixing issues as needed related to integration work
3. Great communication skills with the ability to be self-sufficient as needed to get work done and to move projects along without a lot of hand holding or direction.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all Aerial, Underground and Buried cable designs have been reviewed and analyzed for quality of work.
- Verify that the Customer scope of work or plan was followed.
- Verify that all existing underground and aerial facilities are correctly located per customer records, city records, and per field conditions.
- Identify missing and/or incorrect design information.
- Communicate quality issues with the engineer and engineering manager to find resolution.
- Own the quality control process to produce a value-engineered design, removing all obstacles for construction.
