The Instrument Technician is responsible for the proper decontamination of all instruments and disassembling, cleaning, lubricating, packaging, and wrapping as well as sterilizing all instruments using steam, automated reprocessors, and low temperature sterilizers. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires. INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
- Required: Sterile processing certification
- Prefered: 2 years of experience preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments and supplies
- Preferred: 2 years of experience working with specialty instrument sets such as cardiovascular sets, robotic sets, trauma sets, and or vascular sets
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
