Leadership and Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with the health system's goals and objectives.
- Lead, inspire, and manage the Foundation’s team to achieve organizational excellence and foster a culture of collaboration.
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors to set priorities and establish policies that guide the Foundation's operations.
- Regularly assess and adjust strategies to ensure the Foundation remains responsive to emerging opportunities and challenges.
- Design and execute a robust fundraising strategy to secure significant philanthropic support from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other sources.
- Oversee major capital campaigns, annual giving programs, planned giving, and special events to meet and exceed fundraising goals.
- Work with health system leadership to identify potential donors and develop grateful patient campaign strategies.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with donors, prospects, and key stakeholders to cultivate ongoing support.
- Ensure the effective stewardship of all donated funds, maintaining transparency and accountability in financial management.

Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, public health, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, or a related sector.
- Proven track record of successful fundraising, including experience with major gifts, capital campaigns, and donor relations.
- Experience in the health sector or a strong understanding of health systems and community health challenges is highly desirable.
- Certification in philanthropy or fundraising management is highly desirable and demonstrates a commitment to professional development and excellence in the field.
