- Supervises, schedules, and coordinates daily activities and work assignments for the Respiratory Care department.
- Assists with administrative activities and acts as clinical resource.
- Works collaboratively with other members of the health care team to provide appropriate patient therapy.
- Ensures the proper set up, assembly, cleaning, and restocking of equipment and supplies.
- Assists with inventory control of equipment carts.
- Observes universal and / or specialized precautions in carrying out daily responsibilities.
- Assists with development and implementation of formal training and orientation programs for staff.
- Administers, interprets, and ensures compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Provides on-going informal performance feedback, addresses problems, orients and trains employees, verifies competency and identifies and suggests ways to develop skills.
- Works collaboratively with other members of the health care team to determine the appropriateness of prescribed therapy and to establish achievable goals for the patient's identified pathophysiological state.Staff Resource :
- Serves as a clinical resource to medical staff and other health professionals concerning respiratory care.
- Performs respiratory therapy services to patients, including oxygen therapy, Postural drainage and chest physiotherapy, aerosol therapy, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, airway management, ventilator management, Pulmonary Rehab., Holter monitoring, EKG Cardiac stress testing, and Pulmonary Function Study
- Provides teaching and communicates instructions to patient and / or family for use and indication of R.T.
- Delivers a variety of pharmaceutical agents needed for treatments

- Graduate of a Registry Eligible Respiratory Therapy School
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RRT) issued by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision (OSBMLS).
- 2 years' experience in a leadership role preferred
- BLS and ACLS or PALS certification or must obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal / Written)
- This job requires the incumbents to operate an INTEGRIS-owned vehicle OR personal vehicle (non INTEGRIS-owned) and therefore must have a current Drivers License from the state of residence, driving record which is acceptable to our insurance carrier and auto insurance verification.
