Job Title : IT Support Specialist
About the Role :
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues for our employees. You will work closely with our 3rd Party Managed IT Services provider to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide On-Site Support :
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
Assist users with a wide range of applications, including those for data analysis and operations management.
Install and configure new equipment.
IT Infrastructure Management :
Monitor and maintain the integrity of our IT systems and networks.
Identify and implement improvements to IT processes and procedures.
Assist in the evaluation and selection of new IT hardware and software.
User Support :
Provide prompt and effective technical support to all employees.
Gather and analyze user requirements to identify and implement solutions.
Educate users on best practices for IT security and usage.
Project Collaboration :
Work closely with our 3rd Party Managed IT Services provider on various IT projects.
Contribute to the development and implementation of IT-related initiatives.
Data Security :
Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all company data.
Adhere to all cybersecurity standards and best practices.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in providing IT support in a corporate environment.
Strong understanding of IT systems, including hardware, software, networking, and security.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
