Job Overview :

Our manufacturing client is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Server Engineer to join their growing IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a range of server infrastructure, primarily focused on Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and various backup and monitoring solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of server technologies, cloud environments, and networking, with the ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain complex systems. You will be a key player in ensuring the stability and security of corporate IT systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Server Management : Administer, configure, and troubleshoot on-premises and cloud-based server environments with a focus on Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
• Azure & EntraID : Manage and support Microsoft Azure services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking. Utilize EntraID for identity and access management across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Active Directory : Maintain and manage Active Directory services, including user accounts, group policies, security permissions, and trusts.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery : Administer and support Microsoft Azure Backup Server (MABS) for enterprise-level backup and recovery strategies.
• Collaboration Tools : Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Office applications, MS Teams, and other related productivity tools, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
• Networking & TCP / IP Suite : Configure and support network infrastructure, including understanding and troubleshooting TCP / IP stack, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
• Monitoring & Performance Tuning : Set up and maintain monitoring tools to ensure the performance and reliability of systems. Investigate and resolve issues in real-time through proactive monitoring and alerting systems.
• Documentation & Reporting : Maintain detailed documentation of server infrastructure, processes, and troubleshooting steps. Prepare regular performance and status reports for management.
