Position Summary: Integrity Asset Management and Protection, LLC is seeking an experienced cathodic protection and AC mitigation engineer. Responsibilities will include impressed current and galvanic anode cathodic protection system designs for piping, tanks (internal, external, and AST tank bottom plates), near-shore marine structures, and well casings.
Candidate must have experience with AC mitigation design and must understand the mechanisms of AC interference on pipelines. Candidate must have experience with AC mitigation modeling software, or must demonstrate the ability to learn complex software and manage large and complex data sets.
Candidate must have field experience in oil and gas applications, preferably in transmission or distribution piping. This position will require periodic travel to the field to execute testing in support of designs, oversee construction of designs, and for execute complex cathodic protection and AC/DC interference troubleshooting projects.
Required Qualifications / Skills:
· AMPP Cathodic Protection Certification (CP2 minimum required)
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the design phase and installation phase of cathodic protection and AC mitigation systems
· Experience with other phases of pipeline integrity testing, such as annual test point surveys, close-interval survey, DCVG, ACVG, ACCA, interference testing, pipeline direct assessments, coating evaluations, and soil resistivity testing
· Proven proficiency with complex software and managing large data sets
· Excellent technical writing skills (candidates selected for an interview will be asked to provide a sample of their technical writing with client names and proprietary or sensitive information redacted)
· Excellent communication skills (candidates selected for an interview will be asked to provide a 15 minute presentation on cathodic protection and AC mitigation to demonstrate technical proficiency and communication skills)
· Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Desired Qualifications:
· 10 years’ experience in cathodic protection and AC mitigation design
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program
· Professional Engineer Registration or EIT (position will report to a Professional Engineer allowing EIT to gain licensure)
· Specific experience with AC mitigation modeling software (SES Right of Way Pro, Technical Toolboxes ACPT, Elsyca IRIS, XGS Labs, etc.)
· Proficient with AutoCAD
Travel: Varies, depending on project load, but yearly average less than 25%.
Reports To: VP of Engineering
Salary dependent on experience and certifications

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
