We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Service Writer / Front Desk Associate to join our team. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers, managing service appointments, preparing repair estimates, and ensuring a smooth service experience. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Communication
- Greet customers warmly and assist with service inquiries.
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
- Clearly explain repair recommendations and service options.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and follow up on service status.
Service Coordination
- Schedule service appointments and manage the daily workflow.
- Communicate with technicians to relay customer concerns and vehicle symptoms.
- Provide accurate repair estimates and obtain customer authorization.
- Inform customers about timelines, costs, and any unexpected repairs.
Administrative Duties
- Process service tickets, invoices, and payments.
- Maintain records of vehicle repairs, parts used, and labor costs.
- Ensure front desk and waiting area remain clean and organized.
