In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service to potential car buyers - as well as previous customers. You will engage with customers both in-person, online, and over the phone, guiding them through the sales process while ensuring a positive experience. This position requires a strong understanding of auto-sales techniques and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Finance experience is also a plus.
Duties (may included, but not limited to):
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences in selecting vehicles.
- Conduct outbound sales calls, texts, and emails to generate leads and follow up with potential buyers.
- Maintain a comprehensive sales pipeline, tracking interactions and progress with each customer.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist customers in understanding financing options and payment plans.
- Provide detailed information about vehicle features, specifications, and pricing to customers.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients over the phone.
- Deliver presentations on vehicle offerings, highlighting key selling points through public speaking skills.
- Collaborate with team members to meet monthly sales targets and enhance overall dealership performance.
Requirements
- 2 years Sales experience, preferably in a retail or automotive environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Proficient in math, including retail math, to assist customers accurately during transactions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on effective public speaking.
- Familiarity with managing a sales pipeline and utilizing CRM software is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for automobiles and a desire to help customers find their ideal vehicle is essential.
