Overview:
The Retail Branch Manager oversees all aspects of the branch operations, including deposit growth, lending act ivies, and customer service excellence. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract new customers, deepen existing relationships, and meet branch performance goals. This role involves coaching and leading a team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining strong community engagement. Being successful in this position requires leadership, financial acumen and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Essential Functions:

  • Setting branch performance goals in accordance with the overall bank strategies and initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor and coach the branch retail team in a way that fosters excellence in all aspects of their job responsibilities.
  • Serve as an active participant on the Retail Management Team; collaborating on bank objectives for branch consistencies, training programs, and creating efficiencies.
  • Actively engage with local community events, organizations and business networks to build relationships, enhance the bank’s mission and drive deposit and loan growth.
  • Ensure a strong balance exists between operational controls and exceptional customer service to mitigate risk to the Bank.
  • Demonstrate and promote the Bank’s Code of Culture values through all aspects of leadership.
  • Empower retail team members to drive employee engagement.
  • Know, adhere to, and administer all compliance-related procedures and processes, as well as best practices relevant to bank deposit and operations.
  • Assist in audits and exams as needed.
  • Assist other Retail Managers as needed.

  • Have a high attention to detail and strong organization skills.
  • Ability to work some Saturdays.
  • Ability to complete other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Communications or related field preferred
  • Minimum of three years direct financial services, branch operations, and/or branch management experience
  • Current Notary Public or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
  • Current STAMP Medallion Guarantor or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience working with bank application software preferred.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
