Senior Accountant

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Senior Accountant to join a corporate accounting team. This role plays a critical part in financial analysis, cost accounting, and reporting, particularly in a manufacturing environment with global operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, hands-on experience in cost accounting, and proficiency in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and report on global production costs and financial results of international subsidiaries
• Monitor manufacturing efficiencies and cost drivers, providing insights to management
• Assist with the monthly financial close process and ensure accuracy in reporting
• Address foreign tax, audit, and legal compliance matters as they arise
• Work on various ad hoc projects related to financial operations and accounting improvements
  
  

Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and database management for financial analysis
• Ability to problem-solve, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles and financial statement preparation
• This position may require compliance with ITAR export regulations (applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents)
