Role Overview :
As an Agile Software Engineer , you will contribute to various software development projects aimed at enhancing business operations' efficiency and capabilities. These projects include streamlining monthly payment processes through banking systems, improving member-facing online services, and transforming legacy client-server applications into modern web-based intranet solutions.
You will join one of seven Agile Scrum teams, each responsible for delivering functional increments after sprints. Team activities are organized using Atlassian Agile tools like JIRA, and you'll work closely with business and technical leaders to achieve project goals. A dedicated Technical Lead will provide guidance to ensure your team's success.
This position follows a DevOps-driven methodology and provides opportunities to work across all layers of the application, from automated testing to database operations. The work environment is stable, professional, and promotes a healthy work-life balance, offering hybrid flexibility based on team schedules and in-person collaboration needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain software across all application layers, including user interfaces, backend services, and databases.
- Participate in Agile Scrum processes, contributing to sprints and delivering incremental functionality.
- Leverage tools and frameworks like jQuery, Bootstrap, Java 8, Cucumber, Selenium, Apache Tomcat, and the Spring Framework.
- Use Oracle databases for backend development and optimization.

- Employ DevOps concepts for streamlined development and deployment processes.
