Busy medical clinic seeking a receptionist 35 hours per week.
Candidate will be friendly and patient. Candidate will work for multiple providers and will be responsible for answering phones, scheduling patients, receiving patients payments and processing records requests. Candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks at once while remaining poised and focused.
Preference given to candidates with relevant experience.
Summary
As a Medical Office Receptionist, you will be essential in providing outstanding patient service and administrative support within our healthcare facility. Reporting to the Office Manager, you will utilize your core skills in medical office experience and clerical duties to manage front desk operations, maintain medical records, and facilitate patient interactions. Your premium skills in EHR systems and HIPAA compliance will ensure efficient and secure handling of patient information. With your relevant expertise in Microsoft Office and Excel you will contribute to a smooth and welcoming environment for patients and staff alike.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a medical office setting as a receptionist or administrative support.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in EHR systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent patient service and communication skills.
- Familiarity with medical records management and clerical duties.
- Ability to handle patient needs and perform medical collections.
