Description:
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering Artificial Intelligence systems and software engineering services/solutions to DoD and Federal clients. We are seeking a dedicated Scrum Master to guide cross-functional teams in delivering the design, development, and integration of cutting-edge software solutions supporting a development and integration effort for Maneuver Short-Range Air Defense (MSHORAD) systems. Our work includes developing advanced algorithms, microservice-based architectures, and command-and-control (C2) messaging systems to support warfighting requirements. This role will facilitate Agile processes, champion team health, and ensure alignment with technical milestones and stakeholder expectations. The Scrum Master will work closely with software engineers, project engineers, and senior leadership to drive the successful execution of mission-critical defense projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, with experience in SAFe principles and a passion for fostering collaborative, high-performing teams. You'll contribute to a mission-critical effort that includes real-time operator displays, advanced algorithms, and interoperable defense software - all delivered from our secure Huntsville facility.
Key Responsibilities:

Agile Facilitation:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and demos, to ensure effective team collaboration and progress.
- Champion team health by removing blockers, resolving conflicts, and maintaining focus on sprint goals.

Process Alignment:
- Align Agile metrics with technical milestones and stakeholder expectations to ensure transparency and delivery success.
- Apply SAFe principles to manage the delivery of scalable, secure C2 solutions, ensuring compliance with DoD standards.

Team Empowerment:
- Coach team members on Agile best practices to enhance productivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and adaptability within the team.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project status, risks, and deliverables.
- Support the integration of Agile processes into broader project workflows, aligning with customer requirements and timelines.
Qualifications:
- High-energy individual thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with significant growth opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification.
- Experience with microservice/container-based architectures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with MSHORAD components or C2ISR systems is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills to lead diverse teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Live within the Huntsville, AL area.
