As a Project Manager with I&E Construction, you will be entrusted with critical responsibilities that are pivotal to our success. Your role will encompass organizing and bidding construction documents, managing subcontractors and suppliers, writing and finalizing subcontracts and purchase orders, holding weekly project meetings, managing project costs, overseeing project superintendents, and closely managing the project closeout process. You will be the cornerstone of project success, ensuring our clients' standards and expectations are not only met but exceeded.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: The Project Manager performs the following:
- Oversee the entire construction project, from planning to direction and coordination.
- Create a preliminary construction schedule and ensure project completion within specified timelines.
- Review RFIs to maintain continuity and consistency in the scope of work and cost-related modifications.
- Write Bid Packages to minimize cost escalation during preconstruction and bidding.
- Perform constructability reviews and value engineering on schematic drawings to align with project goals and intent.
- Write subcontracts on behalf of I&E Construction and our clients.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety measures through regular site visits.
- Obtain the necessary licenses or permits for each project.
- Analyze and approve subcontractor/supplier pay applications and billings.
- Analyze, approve, and execute subcontractor/supplier change orders and added scopes of work.
- Prepare and submit owner change orders and monthly pay applications.
With extensive experience in quality control for exterior cladding systems, ensure that all installations meet industry standards, manufacturer specifications, and project requirements.

- Participating in training meetings as needed, including product knowledge and procedural proficiencies.
- Submitting all forms and reports accurately and promptly.
- Ensuring clean and presentable work areas for customers and visitors.
- Adhering to safe working practices and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Treating customers with courtesy at all times.
- Maintaining confidentiality on classified corporate subjects.
- Sharing knowledge and educating junior Project Managers & Project Administrator.
- Able to make site visits, climb a ladder, crawl into an attic, write a scope of work.
Education/qualifications: The Project Manager position should possess the following:
- 10 years related experience
- Extensive knowledge of the construction industry.
- Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities.
- Work well independently as well as within a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and demonstrated ability to interact effectively with management, customers, and team members.
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Project, Word, and Project management software.
