What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at Integrity Eye?
Work in a friendly and ethical work environment. The doctors in the office prioritize patient centered care and try to maintain a positive work environment. The practice has a long history of employee retention. The new employee, will primarily function as an ophthalmic technician, but like current employees do, they will cross-cover other office functions including: phones, insurance referrals and authorizations, pharmacy refills, and front-desk coverage. Employee can work 3 to 5 days a week. Patient volume ranges from 10 to 40 patients a day. There are 2 other experienced ophthalmic technicians in the office, but one is leaving for graduate school. Usually 1 to 2 doctors in office, but some Fridays there are no doctors in office, and the emphasis will switch to administrative tasks. There is an opportunity for base pay rate to increase. Starting pay can be higher based on experience.
