Salary : $15.00 per hour or more based on experience
Responsible for all aspects of assembly operations and inspection; including set-up and sign off of finished products.
Essential Functions

- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
- Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Achieves production, quality and safety standards to maximize output.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

Work Environment / Physical Demands
This job operates in a manufacturing shop environment. Exposure to noise, chemicals, and materials consistent with a manufacturing environment is constant.This is a physically demanding position; maintaining the physical strength to lift materials up to 50 pounds, endure prolonged standing, dexterity, and stamina is necessary.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This position is assigned to either a day or evening shift. Overtime work may be required as job duties demand.
