We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an Environmental & Safety Coordinator responsible for planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining a variety of health and safety programs to assure the highest possible degree of safety for employees at our 5 operational facilities located in Florida, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION
Collaborates with management to develop, prepare, and implement safety policies and procedures.Follow all EHS and company policies, reporting any issues, accidents or incidents immediately.Coordinates the EHS program to promote and ensure a safe working environment.Manage and coordinate all work-related injury and incident accident investigation.Evaluates the effectiveness of EHS programs.Reviews current safety training and recommends revisions, improvements, and updates.Responsible for assigning / reporting monthly safety training topics / materials and safety audits to Supervisors; coordinate and work with team on plant auditsSubmits recommendations for improvements and additions to the safety management program including emergency preparedness, accident prevention, general safety, and risk management.Provide leadership, consultation, and advice to all departments on issues related to safety at plant level.Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.Shares environmental safety information with appropriate levels in the organization.Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules.Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.Performs other related duties as assigned.OTHER SIGNIFICANTJOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE

Ability to use a computerProficiency with Microsoft Word and ExcelLEADERSHIP ATTRIBUTES
