Construction Project Coordinator and Estimator
We are a residential and commercial glass contractor with projects such as showers, windows, mirrors, glass railings, and glass storefronts. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for project coordination from creating bids through project completion. This position works directly with the Project Manager to ensure projects are successfully completed.
This position is primarily an office position.
MAIN/ REQUIRED DUTIES:
- Create and maintain project electronic files
- Coordinate with Vendors for estimating and purchasing
- Prepare bids/estimates for clients and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain detailed project schedules based on material delivery and personnel availability
- Set targets for milestones and schedule accordingly
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding scheduling and timeline updates.
- Monitor changes to projects and communicate changes with Project Manager
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
- Advise accounting of required Change Orders
- Create employee work schedules
- Allocate timesheets and expense reports for assigned projects
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years experience in construction industry or relevant work
- 2 years experience in estimating, project coordination, or purchasing
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and project management software
- Able to manage multiple ongoing projects in a fast paced environment
- Self-directed with a high level of initiative
- Ability to successfully work within a team and individually
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
- Committed to delivering outstanding results
- Maintains professionalism in appearance and attitude at all times
- Possesses high business ethics such as honesty and reliability
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Associates or bachelors degree
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Complete accurate take-offs for materials and bids
- Experience with Bluebeam or similar software
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body
- Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, crouching, sitting, kneeling or squatting for extended periods of time
- Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
- Be able to lift 50 pounds, as needed.
- Sedentary work which involves sitting most of the time
This position is may be exposed to the following conditions:
- Manufacturing, warehouse, and office environments, including loud noises, and fumes
- Working near moving equipment, mechanical parts and construction equipment; must have the ability to be aware & safe.
Salary : $25 - $35
