What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy technician position at Integrity Health Products?
Closed door retail pharmacy located in Toms River, NJ is offering a position for a parttime pharmacy technician.
- Supporting pharmacy services by assembling, stocking, and distributing medications .
- Maintaining records by filing the prescription orders of Physicians.
- Data entry, labeling medications and monitoring inventory.
- Responding to the requests of patients and healthcare providers by answering questions within the scope of a technician and referring various inquiries to the Pharmacist.
- Ensure accurate inventory recording in all phases of the dispensary product's lifecycle.
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts.
- Oversee inventory deliveries, including signing manifests and properly filing the documentation.
- Participate in assessing internal controls over inventory to identify deficiencies and recommend corrective action plans for continuous improvement.
- Complying with rules, regulations and procedures to help maintain a clean and safe pharmacy, such as by cleaning equipment and surfaces.
- Processing prescriptions electronically and ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Candidate must possess excellent customer service sk ills in-person, over the phone, and over email.
- Candidate must have the a bility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidate must demonstrate organizational and time-management skills to follow through tasks to completion.
- C andidates with experience using RX30 software is strongly preferred.
Education Requirements
- Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required ; Associates degree strongly preferred.
- Candidates must have a valid, in-date Registered Pharmacy Technician certificate issued by the NJ Board of Pharmacy.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician is a strongly preferred but not required .
